Role reports to: Head of Professional Portfolio Capabilities & Operations
Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in early 2025.
Travel %: 75% (Open to Domestic and International travel)
Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from: $98,000 - $167,900. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
What you will do
We are looking for a talent to join the North America Healthcare Professional Team based in Summit/Skillman NJ, USA, as a Professional Conference Lead, part of the HCP Professional Capabilities & Operation Team. The Healthcare Professional Conference Lead will be responsible for strategically shaping and managing the HCP conference lifecycle, including planning, coordinating, and execute conferences across North America and standing up our global conference capabilities; tackling any challenges that arise with poise and efficiency.
Scope of Responsibilities Include:
• Strategic Planning: Shaping our HCP conference strategy, both globally and within the US, including setting the execution calendar, partnering with business leaders to strategically select conferences attendance, leading all execution related activities to ensure they align with the company's objectives and maximize visibility and engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, HCP engagement, compliance, global, and customer support, to enhance event impact and ensure comprehensive representation of the organization.
• Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event management and supervising event planning staff, including venue oversight, catering, transportation, technology, and on-site execution. Ensure that all logistical details are meticulously planned and executed, while dealing with last-minute changes or problems.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to negotiate contracts and ensure quality services that meet budgetary constraints.
• Performance Analytics: Implement post-event analytics to evaluate success, identify lessons learned, and derive best practices. Use data to drive efficiencies and improve future event strategies.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies at all events while providing a safe environment for all attendees.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the overall event experience.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in conference and event management within North America..
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale conferences and events with a strategic mindset.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to build relationships and influence across teams
• Ability to constructively challenge the status quo by surfacing opportunities for improvement and sharing ideas for new approaches.
• Self-starter able to function independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate, with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal, written & presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel .
• Ability to travel up to 75% majority of travel is domestic with a possibility of international travel
Desired:
• Experience with global conferences preferred.
