Digital Media Specialist (Information Technology)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Main duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Conceptualize and create graphics for wide variety of print and online publications (Annual Report, PSAs, flyers, etc.), website, video and social media channels.Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy.Assist in promoting the Parishs social media presence through monitoring, posting and content creation; create and manages social content aligned with the Parishs social media policy; works with the Communications Manager to develop relevant and engaging social media content across the Parishs departments.Create, shoot and edit short videos and capture digital photos for social media/website use with short timelines.Assist the Communications Manager and Information Systems with website updates and content.Solid knowledge of software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Adobe, and/or associated graphics and video editing software.Position may require some alternative hours, such as nights, weekends and emergency/crisis events.
