HR Data Analyst (Finance)

This is a hybrid role and requires working on-site, in Kansas City, MO or Richmond, VA or Boston, MA.
The ERP Support Office at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Developer with expertise in HR data, Workday reporting and advanced analytics techniques, including descriptive and predictive analytics. This individual will serve as a technical and subject matter expert on the data, analytics, and data visualization for HR resources data. This individual will primarily work with Workday reporting tools to create Federal Reserve System level reports and will use other data analytics tools to create insightful, data driven solutions that align with the System's overall data strategy. The individual will also have the opportunity to learn Workday configuration and expand their abilities in this area. This role will primarily focus on the data and analytics of talent acquisition and administrative HR as part of the ESO's Employee Lifecycle Team.
Key Activities
Workday Report Development/Support
Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday to support HR operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives. This also includes testing, training, and consultation with end users on reporting needs.
Create and manage calculated fields, Workday worksheets, and advanced report types within Workday. Perform issue and incident resolution for reports, dashboards and other data/analytical products in Workday. This includes research, investigation, and ultimately reaching resolution.
Perform the migration of reports and other analytical products within the development environments and to the production environment.
HR Data Analytics & Metrics
Analyze and interpret complex System HR data to provide insights on workforce trends.
Partner with Data Product Owner to identify data needs and ensure reporting solutions align with high priority initiatives.
Develop visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools to present HR data insights in an accessible format for business lines and System executives.
Perform data stewardship role for in-scope HR data, including participating in the creation of policies or standards (e.g., data quality), managing data architecture and metadata processes and documentation, performing other maintenance activities as needed, and potentially contributing to development of a broader data management strategy.
Required Qualifications
Typically requires 3-10 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience, depending on the level.
Bachelor's degree with specialization in an information technology field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
Ability to identity the business implications of data requirements; ability to use verbal and written communication skills to translate technical/analytical topics for a broad audience preferred.
Ability to independently solve difficult, non-routine problems preferred.
Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment preferred.

Salary for Kansas City:
$76,600 - $105,300 / Experienced Level
$88,200 - $121,300 / Senior Level
$100,500 - $138,200 / Advanced Level
Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
