The Individual Life Insurance Finance Actuarial Community (ILI FAC) is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy professional to join our Transformation Team. In this pivotal role, you'll support our enterprise-wide Financial Management (FM) Transformation initiative, shaping the future of our financial processes.
What to expect:
• Collaborate with FM Transformation, Technology and ILI FAC teams to transform financial reporting and forecasting across Valuation, P&A, Controllership, Expenses, ALM, and Reinsurance
• Drive the re-engineering of existing processes, ensuring seamless integration of business unit-specific solutions within the broader FM Architecture
• Conceptualize and recommend future-state solutions, partnering with Enterprise teams to build, test, and deploy innovative approaches
• Implement artificial intelligence for enhanced storytelling and analysis of results
What you'll need:
• Solid understanding of actuarial concepts, financial reporting, and/or individual life insurance products
• Proficiency in AWS cloud engineering or related technologies
• Demonstrated ability to grasp complex subject matter, provide insightful analysis, and develop innovative solutions
• Proven track record of successful collaboration on cross-functional teams, balancing long-term goals with short-term challenges
• Strong process mindset: Ability to navigate current state processes and build/integrate future-state solutions within FM Architecture
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting actuarial and financial data, identifying discrepancies, and recommending solutions
• Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and resourcefulness, to be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• 5+ years of experience in valuation, modeling, or financial reporting
It'd be a plus if you had:
• Programming experience (Python, SQL, etc)
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• MBA, CPA, or CFA
