Analyst - Account Services / SR (Hybrid) (Finance)
Position Description
Primary purpose:
Work with business development, accounting, external customer, and field operations to support pipeline and terminal operations in Products Pipelines business unit.
Position title will be assigned, depending on the qualifications, skill sets and experience of the successful candidate.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Support Terminal Operations by vetting Certificates of Insurance for Tank Truck Carriers and maintaining carrier setups in truck rack automation systems.
Perform customer service support by handling BOL requests and funneling customer setup requests to field operations
Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.
Maintaining several department email boxes
Facilitating communication between Terminals and customer, addressing inquiries and resolving related issues pertaining to shipper authorization requests for carriers
Support account manager with new shipper/amendment setups, track status of setup process and approvals, provide customers with terminal shutdown details and monitor closely all customer communications pertaining to customer setups.
Assist with shipper inquiries, issues, and concerns pertaining to agreements, leases, fees, and product availability
Work on multiple customer documents such as, Tri Party Agreements, Data sharing agreements, Connection Agreements.
Work with Business Development, Contracts, Accounting, Legal to advance the documentation requests.
Ensure all documents provided by shippers adhere to relevant state and KM policies
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements: Education:
BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience, in Law, Contract Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, or General Business.
Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Must possess skills in grammar and techniques of business composition.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills for dealing with co-workers and customers.
Ability to read and comprehend business contracts through work or educational experience.
Experience / Specific Knowledge: Certification, licenses, registrations:
A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license are required.

Ability to organize, establish and maintain filing and record keeping systems.
Ability to prepare reports from electronic data and various sources.
Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
Physical demands:
Ability to manipulate computer keyboard.
Ability to read various documents, electronic and paper.
Ability to work in an office environment at a workstation, usually sitting, for long periods of time.
Ability to work remotely (telecommute), if required.
Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by local, state or federal agencies and/or Company Policy.
Working Conditions:
Overtime required and extended work hours, including (weekends, holidays, etc.)
Travel may be required, including overnight stays for several days.
Majority of the work will be conducted from an office environment - controlled temperature.

Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities: Above the minimum requirement, not required but advantageous in this position:
Use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
Understanding of petroleum pipelines and terminals.
