Group Team Leader (2nd Shift) (Sales)
Essential Functions

Understands and demonstrates safe work practices and maintains a safe work environment Demonstrates high levels of good housekeeping practices to promote a safe and clean work environment Maintain a high level of quality through periodic product inspections Inspect incoming materials to verify part number and specification conformance Interpret specifications and job orders to employees and assign duties Recommend adjustment of work procedures to meet productivity standards Coordinates work activity per production schedule to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Audit employee production documentation for accuracy and integrity Properly use RF scanning equipment and read a scanner download Performs manual audits of sequencing accuracy as needed Assume supervisory responsibilities as directed and/or as needed Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures Perform Equipment Operator and/or Forklift Driver/Material Handler job duties as assigned Train employees on work processes and best practices to achieve company safety, quality, and productivity objectives Ensures their ability to safely operate mobile equipment, crane and hoist equipment, and/or material handling equipment and comply with PIT safety standards Inspire and support others to achieve results Carry out employee evaluations and deliver positive and constructive feedback Regular and reliable attendance at work Participate in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee regularly sits on a powered forklift and is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 25 pounds, anything greater than 25 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE) one or all PPE may be required based upon the site requirements.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Non-Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.

No travel is required between locations.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentPrior work experience in a warehouse and/or a Just-in-Time (JIT) environmentPrevious experience with RF scanning equipment Ability to identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet informationAbility to understand instructions in EnglishKnowledge of safety practices2+ years of leadership experience preferred Basic computer skills and experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred
