Overview
This position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of manpower, equipment and materials in the most efficient and cost effective manner to support the business unit performance measures
Responsibilities
Directly responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all manpower, equipment and materials in the assigned work areas with consideration given to safe working conditions, parts, workforce availability, scope, cost effectiveness and management of additional support.
Directs and coordinates the daily activities of technicians.
Effectively interfaces with peers and other Vistra Energy personnel to ensure consistent work practices and sharing of knowledge to optimize in performing mining activities.
Participates in special projects and committee assignments as needed.
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
Experience and knowledge of Marion and BE draglines
Knowledge of mine operations, equipment, as well as applicable Company policies, State and Federal regulations.
Demonstrated leadership experience that promotes achievement, goal setting, and supervising diverse work groups.
Related experience that promotes development in the areas described by the major accountabilities and key competencies of this job.
Computer skills demonstrated at a proficient level.
