Warehouse Lead (Information Technology)
RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES: Plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:
Monitors the unloading/loading of all materials
Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection
Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received.
Oversees the movement of material from Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner; oversees the movement of material from Warehouse to Production in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
Ensures inventory accuracy of material entering or leaving warehouse.
Leads Warehouse Personnel in the accurate and timely movement of inventory
Participate in the hiring process for new team members and conduct/oversee on-the-job training.
Will maintain, train, and enforce all SOPs
Communicate with Manager(s) when there is the potential for missing a shipment or not able to complete a shipment. Communicates with Scheduler and other appropriate individuals if there are inventory issues.
Collaborate and demonstrate good communication with team members both within the department and cross-functionally.
Ensures proper labels and tickets have been applied to shipments and receivings.
Communicates with staff to ensure all shipping and receiving documents correspond with loads and ensure all scheduled trucks are loaded/unloaded in timely manner.
Requires transfer of all original documents to Purchasing and QC for distribution. As required.
Controls inventory organization, cleaning of warehouse, and FIFO.
Ability to drive a forklift.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Supplemental Responsibilities:
May pick orders to be shipped
May create shipment BOLs
May receive incoming material into system
May direct and oversee the pallet control and recycle program
May assist in unloading trucks
General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas.
a) Requires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside waste disposal vendor.

MS Software
FedEx/UPS Software
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
High School Diploma
At least two years in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
Instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
