General Manager: As General Manager you will be responsible for all facets of vacation rental daily operations including champion a culture of outstanding service, leading by example to inspire and motivate your team towards excellence in every interaction. You will also serve as the primary knowledge hub for all aspects of Customer Experience, making information accessible and actionable. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Supervise employees and team performance, train employees, coach, counsel and motivate employees. Recruit, train, and lead a team dedicated to upholding our high standards of customer service. Evaluate employees, investigate complaints or performance concerns and implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with management. Ensure and maintain a safe work environment by educating and directing employees. Encourage and Promote company core values/standards Process orders, maintain inventory and control of linen and supplies. Be the principal point of contact for property owners, fostering strong relationships and maintaining high retention rates. Promote, establish and maintain positive relations with our guests, owners and vendors. Respond to owner and guest complaint and concerns. Perform unit quality and condition inspections. Facilitate communication (last minute changes, deliveries, etc.) to head housekeepers during morning briefings. Load schedule, edit notes, input times, schedule housekeepers and edit workflow in property system. Answer and monitor phones and email systems throughout the day. Qualifications: Must possess excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills (verbal and written) Extremely pleasant "hospitality" demeanor. Ability to think creatively to solve concerns of vacation rental property owners and rental guests with good common sense, reasoning and judgment. Ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner and be able to adjust to last minute changes. Ability to learn new technology and implement as needed Four-year degree from accredited college or university (Preferred) At least three years of prior operational management experience (Preferably Hospitality) Work Schedule: Business Hours with Flexibility: Operate within standard business hours while being available for occasional needs outside these times.
