IDOT Construction Technician (Finance)
Mission
Location: within commutable distance of Chicago, IL
Compensation Range: 57K - 68K annually
The IDOT Construction Engineer will observe, monitor, verify and record Contractor's work daily for compliance with IDOT's quality and schedule objectives, as defined in the construction contract documents. In addition to observing the work, the Field Supervisor will pro-actively address field issues as they arise by bringing them to the attention of the IDOT Program Manager for resolution in a timely manner. The Field Supervisor will prepare daily field logs recording the activities completed and quality and safety issues.
