Production Coordinator (Administrative)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•This role will maintain and coordinate the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
•Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
•Support location manager by reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
•Maintain and ensure work is being fed into the line in the correct sequence per schedule.
•Ensure production data is being maintained appropriately and that the system reflects up to date status of production jobs.
•Ensure that work in progress "WIP" information is correct and that job orders are being closed in a timely manner.
•Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption, track material shortages and provide immediate resolution.
•Answer sales schedule questions
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
•High school diploma or (GED)
•Strong computer, data entry and typing skills
•Good verbal and written and communication skills
•Strong organizational, problem solving and time-management skills
