Cybersecurity Business Consultant (Finance)
Job Description: Work closely with customers to assess their cybersecurity needs, design tailored strategies, and implement effective measures to protect their critical infrastructure and operational technologies. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique operational cybersecurity requirements and conduct comprehensive assessments of their systems and processes. Develop and implement customized cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulations. Advise customers on best practices to enhance the security of their operational technologies, industrial control systems (ICS), and SCADA systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and industry regulations, providing proactive recommendations to clients. Deliver training and awareness programs to educate customers on operational cybersecurity practices and promote a culture of security awareness. Position eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week. Position requires 40% travel (10% international, 30% domestic) to US and Mexico for pre-sales, engineering, and consulting.
Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (3 years with Master's or 5 years with Bachelor's) in selling C-suite consultative cybersecurity solutions and services or related occupation, which must include at least some experience with the following: Cybersecurity consulting in the Oil and Gas industry using understanding of global business practices, security architectures, and digitalization objectives; Qualifying, forecasting, and managing complex projects involving solutions and services across multiple business units; Implementing, advising, and adjusting operational technologies, industrial control systems (ICS), and SCADA systems; Conducting cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis in a customer-facing role; Advising on and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001; and Cybersecurity tools and technologies, network security, intrusion detection systems, and incident response procedures. Position also requires cybersecurity certification with IEC 62443.
