What's the role?
The Manager Business Process Excellence - Inbound to Outbound is responsible for leading the transformation and enhancement of all logistics and distribution processes within ZEISS. This role is instrumental in integrating SAP S/4HANA solutions to streamline and optimize everything from warehouse management to transportation, ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain.

Here's what you'll do:
Extended Warehouse Management: Oversee the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Extended Warehouse Management, enhancing both inbound and outbound logistics operations. Focus on optimizing production supply and incorporating the use of mobile devices in warehouse operations.
Transportation Management: Lead initiatives to streamline freight order management, route planning, and freight settlement. Develop strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery timelines.
Quality Management: Manage quality control processes, including claim management and quality inspections, to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
3PL Integration: Enhance technical and process interfaces with third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless operations and improved service levels.
Leadership and Strategic Planning: Moderate between various ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner. Steer and orchestrate external consulting support within your workstream, ensuring alignment with the overall transformation strategy.
Change Management and Communication: Implement change management strategies effectively and communicate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure understanding and support for new processes.
Do you qualify?
Master's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
Extensive experience managing projects in the area of business process excellence, especially involving SAP ERP transformations with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management and Transportation Management.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent communication and change management skills.

The annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
