Senior Claim Director- Casualty Direct Handle Claims
Summary
The Chubb Claim Director is an individual contributor role that focuses on technical claim handling for Chubb's Commercial Direct Handle Claims Team. As a Claim Director, you will be responsible for managing both litigated and non-litigated auto and general liability claims, overseeing primary and excess policies.
In this position, you will be accountable for handling and resolving claims, which includes conducting thorough investigations, determining coverage, reserving funds, negotiating settlements, and developing trial strategies as needed. You will have the opportunity to represent the company at various events, including meetings with management and business partners, as well as at mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials.
This role requires occasional travel and frequent coordination with internal and external business partners. It is essential that you possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively serve and collaborate with these stakeholders.
As a Claim Director, you play a crucial role in representing the company's interests and ensuring efficient and fair claim resolutions. Your ability to analyze complex claim situations, make informed decisions, and provide exceptional service will contribute to the success of Chubb's Commercial Direct Handle Claims Team.
