Work Schedule: Hybrid: 4 days in office / 1 day remote
Salary Range: $99,000-$105,000. Bonus Eligible.

The Software/Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications and machine firmware. This role plays a critical part in the product development lifecycle by ensuring that both new and existing systems meet established quality standards. Reporting directly to the Firmware/Software Engineering Manager, the Software/Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to align testing efforts with ongoing development. Responsibilities include creating detailed test plans and test cases, conducting thorough testing, and documenting and reporting defects for resolution. The ideal candidate will also coordinate with Service teams to investigate and validate customer-reported issues, facilitating prompt remediation with Product and Engineering. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance are essential for success in this role.
