Engineer Sr. I - Service Development - Medical Devices (Finance)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development of support methodology including troubleshooting documentation, installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade processes for in field and in-house repairs.
Supports the establishment and implementation of service support documentation and infrastructure for capital equipment offerings.
Contributes to the development and implementation of processes to expand, support and develop call center and field service support of direct and 3rd party personnel.
Develops and maintains Technical Support procedures.
Develops service bulletins to inform global team of product support changes and maintenance updates.
Provides technical troubleshooting support for internal and external customers.
Ensures a quality customer service experience and collaborates on resolving customer concerns.
Develops new techniques, processes, and service products.
Participates in major projects or several service projects of moderate to complex scope and requirements.
Provides technical training to Arthrex Global Service and Repair teams, as needed.
Supports the New Product Development process and the efforts towards "Design for Serviceability".
Travels up to 15% domestically and potentially internationally.
Knowledge:
Strong understanng and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Deep knowledge of industry practices.

Skills:
Knowledge of FDA or ISO guidelines for the development of medical devices preferred.
Experience working in a regulated environment required.
Design development process experience required.
Project management experience required.
Technical knowledge in development methodologies, design and project implementation preferred.
Experience in porcess development preferred.
Experience creating and updating scope, budget, and schedule of projects required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, or related degree required.
Master's degree preferred.
5 years of relevant work experience required.
