Lightweight Field Specialist (Midwest Region) (R&D)
Job Description
Beltservice Corporation is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Lightweight Product Specialist to drive sales and develop strong product knowledge throughout the Midwest United States (Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana). This role involves building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers to expand accounts and gain new business. 40-50% overnight travel is required. Please note that we are currently only considering candidates who live within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Meet/exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned area.Serve as a point-person for the Lightweight program, embodying Beltservices Core Values, and mission.Identify and pursue direct OEM opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing distributors.Conduct market research to identify opportunities and understand market conditions.Assist in evaluating new products and eliminating underperforming products.Collaborate with the geographic sales team, Plant Managers, Corporate Product Group Managers, and Sales/Operation Management to deliver high-quality customer experiences and technical training.Work with technical teams in Carmichaels, PA, and St. Louis, MO, providing expertise on fabrication and product customization.Actively participate in Sales L10 Meetings.Provide voice of customer feedback to the Business Unit Leadership Team.Utilize CRM in line with Standard Work for CRM.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.1-3 years of inside or outside sales experience preferred, but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Strong time management skills and self-motivation.Willingness to travel overnight 40-50% of the time.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of product assembly/fabrication and the conveyor belt industry.Understanding of the market, customer base, competition, and products in the assigned territory.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
