Essential Accountabilities
Conducts independent economic research for the purpose of maintaining and building a base of knowledge and expertise.
Produces and submits research on issues relevant to the Federal Reserve to leading journals to become an internationally recognized leader in their research field. Presents research in internal and external venues.
Keeps informed of current economic issues and provides advice on economic policy issues of interest to stakeholders.
Responds to economic policy questions by writing articles and giving speeches.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
