Sustainability Intern (Finance)
Job Description Summary
Are you interested in increasing the sustainability knowledge you have learned in the classroom or online by working for Sonesta International Hotels Corporation? In order to be contacted for an interview interested candidates must be eligible students as defined by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) is excited to offer an opportunity to learn how to complete energy efficiency surveys for our hotels by reviewing opportunities for LED lighting, variable speed drives, and other savings measures. This position will be an opportunity to apply benchmarking analysis and rank the best value energy efficiency options.
Job Description
Our internship will offer the opportunity to:
- Research innovative energy efficiency products
- Calculate estimated energy consumption and financial savings
- Verify energy efficiency project consumption and financial savings
- Update EPA Energy Star Portfolio Manager for benchmarking submittals
- Prioritize Energy Efficiency Projects based on analysis
- Coordinate and manage energy efficiency equipment installation s
- Identify and secure rebate incentives from utility programs
- Social Media - help us share great news and tell folks about Sonesta that we are changing equipment and combating climate change
