Human Resources Manager (Project Management)
Beverly Knits designs and develops fabric for all markets, including intimate apparel, active wear, outdoor products, mattress, and bedding, automotive, industrial, and medical. We also produce fire-retardant products for apparel, bedding and industrial end uses. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the Beverly Knits, Inc. organization, including recruitment, hiring, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and safety regulations, acting as a liaison between management and employees to maintain a positive work environment and support the company's strategic goals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, evaluating applicants, and collaborating with managers in making hiring decisions.
Developing and implementing new employee onboarding processes, coordinating training programs, and ensuring employees are properly introduced to their roles and company culture.
Establishing performance expectations and metrics, facilitating employee performance reviews, providing feedback, and identifying development opportunities.
Administering employee benefits programs, monitoring time and attendance reporting, ensuring compliance with compensation regulations, and reviewing salary structures.
Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, investigating complaints, and maintaining positive employee relations. Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Ensure disciplinary actions and termination of employees are conducted in accordance with company policy.
Creating and updating company policies related to employment, including attendance, leave, and disciplinary actions.
Ensuring adherence to all applicable federal and state employment laws, including anti-discrimination, safety, and labor regulations.
Identifying high-potential employees, providing career development opportunities, and succession planning.
Collaborating with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Provides support and guidance to HR coordinator and/or generalist. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the HR department. Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
