Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Operations, this position is responsible for the planning of materials and components used in the manufacture of automatic accordion style fire and security doors. Working closely with Inventory Control this position works to insure that all necessary components and materials are delivered on time to avoid disruptions in the manufacturing process and on time delivery to our customers.Qualifications:

1. Verify component material and other production readiness, coordinating with Shop Floor Control Material Planner, Inter. Org. planner and buyers.
2. Analyze and release Purchase Requisitions -review for possible substitutions.
3. Maintain discrete job material requirements for substitutions, unused components, etc.
4. Manage discrete job material requirements for substitutions, unused components, etc.
5. Manage ASCP exceptions for discrete jobs.
6. Monitor timely discrete job completion. Report and coordinate resolution issues.
7. Monitor and coordinate resolution of WIP transaction errors assisting with discrete job close process.
8. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on make item bills of materials and router issues.
9. Compare consignment pulls to consumption advice, report and balance the net differences.
10. Maintain daily discrete job shortage report for both orgs.
11. Review daily IR's without ISO's for requisition cancellations.
12. Maintain QMI report daily with updates, discrete job reports and transfer notes from previous.
13. Maintain production packaging stock with KANBAN cards.
14. Facilitate bi-weekly purchase order expediting meeting with Buyer(s) to review reschedule- in and past due purchase orders.Duties/ Responsibilities:
