Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and adaptable IT Manager to lead our Medical Imaging, Interoperability, and Epic Database Administration (ODBA) teams. This role requires a balance of coaching and technical expertise to help guide your team while ensuring that medical imaging systems, interfaces, and the Epic database operate efficiently and securely. You will support your team's growth by providing mentorship and development opportunities while leveraging your technical knowledge to guide system integrations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
In addition to managing the technical operations, you will be responsible for overseeing team budgets, resource allocation, and optimizing financial spending to support departmental goals. While a strong technical background is important, your leadership and ability to balance operational needs with strategic financial management will be key to success in this role.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of IT experience. Experience in medical imaging systems, interoperability, and/or database administration preferred.
Technical knowledge of medical imaging systems (PACS, RIS, DICOM), healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR), and Epic database administration (ODBA).
Proven experience in coaching and developing teams, with a strong focus on leadership, performance management, and team growth.
Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, and optimizing financial expenditures to support departmental goals.
In-depth understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure, data security, and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical guidance and strategic planning.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring optimal system performance and team development.
