1-3 years of shipping and logistics experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with Oracle and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Hazmat knowledge and certification preferred.
Familiarity with KPI metrics and 6S standards.
Previous forklift experience with certification or willingness to become certified
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packaging, and shipping.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of our shipping and logistics processes. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and on-time delivery of materials, efficient carrier coordination, proper documentation handling, and the resolution of shipping issues. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and a customer-centric approach, along with prior shipping experience and familiarity with Oracle, WMS, and hazmat procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Freight & Order Processing: Enter freight charges in Oracle and close orders accurately and promptly.
Shipping Management: Handle shipping issues, manual shipments, and coordinate pickups with carriers.
Forklift & Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment for shipping tasks.
Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain all shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance, including hazardous material requirements.
Carrier & Communication: Serve as the point of contact for carriers and internal teams, addressing shipment issues, preparing BOLs, and resolving customer complaints.
Safety & Efficiency: Follow safety protocols, maintain warehouse organization, and support daily operations to meet KPIs and quality standards.
Record Keeping & System Use: Maintain accurate shipment records and enter data into various shipping systems.
Preparation & Packaging: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of each shipment.
Collaboration: Work with service support teams to resolve shipping needs and issues.
Additional Duties: Assist with daily warehouse operations as needed and perform other job duties as assigned.
