Team/Job Summary: This role is within NOA's IT: Infrastructure & Operations department. It is responsible for coordinating, tracking and monitoring IT hardware assets and/or software licenses across the organization. Also ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to IT inventory management and software usage as applicable.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
• Enforces compliance with all purchasing system policies and process requirements related to IT assets.
• Ensures that all hardware and software asset inventory systems are accurately maintained and escalates concerns or issues accordingly.
• Accountable for overall effectiveness of the hardware and software asset system(s).
• Performs all receiving, shipping and tracking functions of IT related equipment.
• Manages IT supplies, consumable requests and proper inventory levels.
• Maintains IT inventory database and provides reports as needed.
• Conducts physical inventory audits, including reconciliations, findings and actions taken regarding
• proposed changes to current processes.
• Works with technicians to ensure IT equipment fulfillment.
• Updates existing documentation for changes in processes and prepare control documentation, flowcharts, policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of IT procurement and contracts - purchasing processes, workflows and best practices.
• Assists with purchasing IT hardware and software.
• Builds and maintains relationships with cross functional customer groups and IT partners.
