Industrial Engineer (Finance)
GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION:
As an Industrial Engineer you are responsible for Development of Labor Standards, CapEx forecasting and ROI analyses, Continuous Improvement Initiatives and Collaboration with Deckers Leadership to promote product growth in a cost effective and SLA focused manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Engineering (IE), Continuous Improvement (CI), or Operational Excellence (OpEx). This position emphasizes optimizing facility performance, engaging in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key elements include:
Facility Optimization: Improving metrics, systems, safety, and quality within the Distribution Center (DC).
Collaboration: Partnering with Operations leadership to prioritize and drive improvements that benefit the customer experience.
Continuous Improvement Leadership: Creating and leading projects with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to address gaps and improve processes.
Training and Facilitation: Leading Lean training sessions and rapid improvement events to spread knowledge across the organization.
Process Analysis: In-depth analysis of complex production and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Certifications and Audit Management: Managing compliance with audits and certifications, ensuring cycle awareness and readiness.
Green Initiatives: Supporting environmental sustainability efforts in line with corporate goals.
Safety and Efficiency: Ensuring that operations run safely and efficiently, while fostering a culture of recognition and coaching.
