Director of Program Operations (Project Management)
As the Director of Program Operations, you will oversee and manage the program management team for Management Consulting, Technical Solutions, and Infrastructure and Security projects under the direction of the Vice President of Operations. You are responsible for creating operational processes to improve our client delivery and enhance our operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for the daily oversight of logistics, delivery, people management, and program finance. Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to support the growth and strategic objectives.Develop and implement processes and ensure they are followed by all team members.Collaborate with leadership and program managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plansCommunicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaborationWork with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plansDraw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goalsPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasksManage relationships with Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs), partners, and vendorsAssess and manage the risks to the companys financial and operational objectivesSupport company growth by contributing to the proposal process in any way needed to include pricing support, solution development, proposal writing, proposal readingKnow, communicate, and implement company policies that promote company culture and visionConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveDevelop and champion a culture of continued learning and SME development to support corporate growth objectives and retention of key employees.
