Supervisor/Manager-OSG Finance (Hybrid Schedule) (Finance)
Position Overview:
This position will manage the Operations Support Group (OSG) finance deliverables for 90+ G & A Responsibility Centers as well as O & M and Capital reporting up through the COO. The 2025 OSG annual budget is approximately $3 Billion.
Position Description:
• Supervise staff of 3, including mentoring, setting goals and timely performance feedback.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables for all accounting and finance processes.
• Manage other processes such as monthly accruals, headcount analysis, KPIs and semi-annual business reviews.
• Manage the annual budget process which includes timelines, training, and critical analysis.
• Interface with RC Owners to ensure monthly RC accuracy.
• Interface with IT to identify reports/processes that will streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve overall productivity.
• Develop and implement internal controls and standardize processes when applicable.
• Monitor and analyze reports, research variances and provide concise explanations.
• Interface with all levels of management to obtain information necessary to complete duties.
• Complete special projects and annual objectives as assigned.
Position Requirements
Position Requirements:
• Experience directly or indirectly supervising/managing a finance/accounting environment.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Working experience with Lawson, HFM and Essbase experiences preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, operations analysis, and internal reporting.
• Must possess and demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals of various levels.
• Ability to organize work effectively, prioritize daily work for yourself and your subordinates, reprioritize on short notice, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and often with strict deadlines, while maintaining a high quality of work product.
