Position Overview

As a corporate project manager you are responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring complex Non-IT projects within Corporate A&M, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting all quality standards while managing stakeholder expectations and aligning with overall business objectives; key duties include defining project scope, assembling teams, assigning tasks, tracking progress, mitigating risks, managing budgets, and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Project Initiation:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Establish project budget and financial tracking mechanisms.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders.
• Team Leadership:
  • Assemble and manage cross-functional project teams.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the team.
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members.
• Project Execution:
  • Monitor project progress against the plan, identifying potential issues early on.
  • Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts
  • Track project metrics and KPIs to ensure performance aligns with goals
• Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including key decision-makers and senior leadership
  • Proactively address concerns and manage expectations
  • Conduct project reviews and presentations to demonstrate progress and achievements
• Project Closure:
  • Review project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met
  • Conduct post-project analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
  • Document project outcomes and archive relevant information

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Expertise in project management tools and software
• Understanding of relevant business processes and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team building abilities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Compensation Statement:

The salary range is $150,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
