IT Support Specialist (Information Technology)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Learn and assist with backup.Assist with desktop support, in a Windows 10 environment running Microsoft Office applicationsAssist in monitoring computer networks for security threats or unauthorized users.Assist with maintaining physical inventory of various IT assets, including computers, printers, switches, access points, time clocks, scanners, radios, cellphones, etc.Assist in updating and maintaining departmental documentation.Must be literate and moderately proficient with general IT. Must be organized, thorough, interested in learning.
7. Performs work in accordance with all quality systems requirements including Food Safety, Food Defense, HACCP, training, and GMPs as well as meets all company corporate requirements related to quality and food safety programs.
8. Maintains a good attendance record to ensure that there is no interruption to production or services for our customers.
HARDWARE:
Install, configure, and test desktop computers and peripherals. Terminate, trace, and install UDP lines. Test, configure, and rotate warehouse equipment, including handheld scanners and printers (up to 45 lbs).
SOFTWARE:
Track and resolve issues using ticket management software. Manage inventory by labeling hardware and UDP lines. Set up, wipe, and migrate mobile devices using mobile device management. Knowledge of print servers, including adding and updating printers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong skills in end-user interaction and desktop support. Keen attention to the condition of hardware to support productivity teams. Willingness to conduct site tours between multiple warehouses. Comfortable with safety requirements for using scissor lifts and boom lifts to handle network devices (such as cameras, access points, and UDP lines). Willingness to work overtime and some Sundays.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and /or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The floors in the work area are loud and noisy and require proper PPE.
