Energy Sector Experts (Reforms) - Arlington, VA (Remote) (Finance)

Summary
Tetra Tech is recruiting experienced Energy Sector professionals to fill multiple positions to support projects for public sector and commercial clients. Applicants will be considered for part-time or full-time positions.
Responsibilities
Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with demonstrated work experience in one or more of the following subject matters:
- Energy and electricity sector reforms, policy and institutional capacity building.
- Electricity regulation and tariff design.
- Financial and economic analysis; transactions and related due diligence.
- Financial structuring and design for instruments such as viability gap financing.
- Design, auction, procurement and implementation of renewable/clean energy projects.
- Clean energy policy, planning, regulations and incentives; climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics, law, management, public policy, administration or similar related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more areas listed above.
- Experience supporting energy projects funded by donors such as USAID, MCC, IFIs, and other bilateral funding organizations.
- Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Professional level fluency in French and English (reading, writing and presentation).
Preferred but not Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in economics, law, management, public policy, administration or related fields.
- Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organization.
