LEER - Maintenance Building - Maintenance Building (Finance)
G ENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the assigned manufacturing plant zone remains in compliance to all maintenance standards and requirements. Verify and maintain TEM in assigned manufacturing zone. Communicate and initiate corrective actions with any downtime on equipment. In addition you are responsible for general plant and tool maintenance, basic electrical, air system repair welding and spray equipment repair. Must have the ability to engage and participate within a group for problem solving activities.

SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS:
Understand and lead safety requirements - respond to/correct unsafe practices immediately, perform regular audits of your area to ensure compliance to our safety requirements and practices.
In the event of an injury, aid as needed. Promptly address corrective measures to prevent further injuries.
Understand environmental requirements as applicable and maintain compliance. Assist assigned zones with the 5S process and expectation of your area. Due regular audits to ensure the practices and processes are followed driving continuous improvement.
Help drive Quality Assurance standards through preventative maintenance. Aid manufacturing by helping drive training and accountability with proper tool and machine usage.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be RCRA Certified within 90 days of accepting the position
Forklift certified
Lockout - Tag out Certified.

Be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols
Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, and aluminum
Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
Effective use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
Perform process inspection to assure quality welds
Perform maintenance on equipment
Assist with Safety/Environmental tasks
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to read and use a tape measure and square to precise measurements.
Ability to read complex prints and build specifications.
Ability to work in a team environment and assist peers as needed.
Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines.
Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Must be detail orientated.
Excellent attendance
Ability to communicate and understand in English
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Must possess positive attitude
Must have a good general mechanical background
Must have a general pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
Minimum basic knowledge of electrical/electronic background but an advanced electrical/electronic background is preferred
Familiar with a variety of maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures including preventative maintenance
Relies on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals
Is knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty
Performs a variety of complicated tasks
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Must have a valid driver's license
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 2- years of experience
