Transportation Manager (Year-Round) (Personal Services)
This position is responsible for overseeing Grand Targhee Resort's Transportation Program. This includes daily shuttle service between Teton Valley Idaho and Grand Targhee Resort, airport shuttle service, and RIDE GTR program. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Arrive at work on time when scheduled.
Regularly transports guests and employees safely to and from designated areas.
Recruit, hire and train drivers for all shuttle services and transportation needs.
Conduct regular training and ride-alongs to ensure consistent quality service.
Proactively plan, implement and execute schedules for all Resort shuttle services that support resort activities both in-season and off-season.
Supervise staff to ensure continuity within all transportation programs.
Adhere to all FMCSA regulations regarding safety and record keeping.
Assist Director with monthly ridership and expense reporting for the City of Driggs.
Work with Director, the City of Driggs and Teton County, Wyoming to obtain funding for public transit.
Assist in gathering data for the Monitoring Reports submitted to Teton County, Wyoming.
Obtain and keep up to date a Wyoming Class "B" Drivers' License with passenger endorsement.
Fill in as a driver in any of the transportation entities if need arises.
Develop and execute a shuttle service within Resort boundaries to transport guests from parking lots to base area.
Work with sales department to develop and execute GTR's airport shuttle service.
Work with sales department to develop and execute "Ride GTR" shuttle service.
Adhere to safety rules to ensure safety of guests, employees and equipment
Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.
Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort's Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.
Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises + or - 15 employees in the Transportation Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the resort's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a CDL with passenger carrier endorsement. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of GTR.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Wyoming Class "B" Drivers' License with passenger endorsement.
