Role Description: This position is responsible to provide prompt, professional, courteous service to all walk-in and telephone customers and direct them as needed. This position is critically important to making customers feel welcome, helping them with questions or information, or directing them to appropriate location personnel. This position will also handle all administrative coordination of quotes and job paperwork, delivery packages and system tracking files.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for serving customers by greeting them professionally and enthusiastically as they enter the facility, or by speaking with them on the phone, directing internal and external customers to the appropriate areas and personnel depending on their needs
•Coordinate information tracking and organization for all incoming quotes and orders, assigning folders and tracking numbers as appropriate, scheduling for quoting or designing work that is needed
•Communicating and providing information about quotes or jobs to internal and external customers
•Responsible for serving both internal and external customers in a professional, courteous manner; also being professional in appearance and communication
•Coordinating sealed drawings from Alpine, providing copies as needed to sales or customers, filing copies in job folders appropriately
•Creating tickets for jobs in computer system, collecting deposits/payments for cash customers
•Creating purchase orders, coordinating special order purchases of beams, hangers or plates as needed or directed by management, receiving special order or stock inventory in system
•Assist with purchasing office supplies, first aid supplies, or any other administrative or clerical tasks as needed
•Any other tasks as assigned by management
Skills Needed:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED), ability to use Microsoft Excel.
•Be able to communicate clearly in English
•Have a basic knowledge of truss process and be able to direct customers to appropriate personnel
•Be organized, able to communicate well and good with follow-up

•Regularly required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and to talk or hear. Often required to sit, stand, climb or balance, and occasionally to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
•Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. Rarely required to lift up to 25lbs.
•Regularly required to see clearly with close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
