The Estimator will be principally responsible for accurately estimating the direct cost (material, resource, time) of producing a specific part or assembly, tool or prototype. Component parts within 24 hours of RFQ receiptPrototype within customer due dateTooling within customer due date Organizational Relationships and Authority The Estimator reports directly to the Business Development Manager of the company and works collaboratively with engineers, accountants, programmers, technologists, and Supply Chain Employees to complete estimates on time. There are currently no direct reports associated with this position; however the Estimator has the responsibility to voice concerns discovered during the estimating process regarding tolerances, or feasibility issues with those parties responsible for resolution.
