Business Analyst - Matrix GPO - Hybrid (Lake Mary, FL) (Finance)
Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Financial Analysis job family. Responsible for analysis and interpretation of moderately complex financial information. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, identifies trends, variances, and key issues and provides recommendations for adjustment. Responsible for conducting moderately complex financial analysis projects and/or reporting. Prepares financial reports and recommends improvements in financial reporting systems. May conduct audits to ensure financial controls are maintained. May design, enhance and maintain system applications for processing and reporting financial information. May administer risk management and loss prevention programs to maintain maximum protection of the organization's assets at the most economical rates. Completes day-to-day Financial Analysis tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Manager - Strategic Pricing and Contracting to provide business support to Matrix GPO and other assigned business units. Under general supervision, plans, coordinates and implements financial and business processes to support and enhance the financial management of assigned business units.
Position's main responsibilities will be related to rostering, variance analysis, benchmarking and reporting for Matrix GPO and our customer admin fees. Compiles and analyzes data to report on key performance metrics. Responsible for supporting group development and addressing operations statistical, business and financial information requests including budget, expenses, variances and year-to date performance. Assistance in developing competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals through data analysis and collaborative with sales teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES TO INCLUDE: Partnering with key business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, & Sales) to understand their analytical and decision support needs. Driving new modeling and analysis to enable actionable insights. Presenting findings and recommendations to business leaders via consolidated metrics.
