Principal Chemist (Project Management)
The Principal Chemist is the company's senior chemist responsible for working with the Operations, Business Development and Technology teams to develop new product formulations and test existing product formulations to meet identified customer needs and proactively develop new product innovations to meet broad or emerging market needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal Formulations chemist in Imperative Chemicals.
Develop "Fit for purpose product" product formulations to meet customer requirements.
Proactive development of novel product formulations based on new chemical technologies to address trending market needs identified by Operations or Business Development
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
4 or more years product development and formulation experience
Knowledge and experience in oilfield chemicals technology
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong expertise in Oil Field chemicals technology
Strong expertise in product development and formulation
Knowledge of the Imperative Chemical Product and Raw Material portfolio
Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented with a bias for action
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
Strong process focus
Capable team player
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
