Senior Clinical Research Coordinator - Cizik School of Nursing (Finance)
UTHealth Houston's Cizik School of Nursing is hiring for a full-time, benefits-eligible Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join their team of professionals. The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for talking on the phone with prospective and current research participants to screen for eligibility, schedule appointments, or help troubleshoot simple IT issues, etc. The Coordinator will also manage and administer payments to the participants and review EPIC charts to identify prospective participants. This individual will work in a team to convey information about recruitment and retention to other project members.

This position is funded by grants that comprise 50% or more of the funding. Continued employment in this position is contingent upon the availability of funding for this position. Your employment may end upon the cancellation or discontinuation of the project, program or funding.

Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Master's Degree in related field preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Four (4) years of clinical research experience, including significant experience in a patient-facing clinical research role with a Bachelors degree required.
Two (2) years of clinical research experience, including significant experience in a patient-facing clinical research role with a Master's degree required.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
