Maintenance Planner (Maintenance)
Position Summary
The Maintenance Planner reports to the VP Aircraft Maintenance Operations and is responsible for the planning and scheduling of maintenance events. Organize maintenance work packages, including identifying and ordering of parts, materials and equipment required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluates projected scope of work to ensure that appropriate ratings and capabilities are in place.
Manages schedule to ensure that data, material, tooling and personnel are available when required.
Ensures adequate housing is available when performing work at another location.
Collaborates with air carrier to ensure documentation, training, approvals are in place prior to performing work.
Reviews operator requirements prior to input.
Documents operators' operating rules on Aircraft Work Authorization.
Communicates with customers, vendors and other managers to support customer needs as required.
Monitors work in progress and communicate problem areas.
Schedules and Chairs pre-arrival and planning meeting.
Plans for all Material required in preparation for the proposed project.
Collaborates with the material group during the pre-planning phase to ensure timely arrival of all ordered material and aircraft parts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Aircraft Maintenance Operations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager of MRO Services.
Essential Job Functions
Ability to operate designated technology devices and programs.
Ability to work in the designated office and its environment as well as indoor and outdoor environments within airports including airside facilities, landside facilities, and terminal buildings.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of small and large group settings.
If needed, must have a reasonable space to work from home/remotely with appropriate office set up.
Ability to work extended hours and in a flex schedule to meet the demands of the position.
Able to comply with any and all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Required Education and Experience
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in corporate aviation.
