The Fundraising Coordinator will support the fundraising team in planning and executing fundraising activities, events, and campaigns. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills to ensure the successful implementation of fundraising strategies.
How will I contribute
Assist in maintaining and updating the donor database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare and distribute fundraising materials, including brochures, newsletters, and thank-you letters. Manage fundraising calendars and schedules, ensuring timely follow-ups and coordination of activities. Facilitate quarterly communication to households in the database. Organize various database sources and implement new CRM. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information and support as needed. Support the organization and execution of donor appreciation events and activities. Facilitate the Thank-You process for donors with a goal of a 7-day response, including tax deductible letter, and database corrections and entries. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and volunteer management. Support event promotion through social media, email marketing, and other communication channels. Help track event attendance, donations, and feedback for continuous improvement. Participate in creating and updating a business plan for the Foundation annually. Support the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, both online and offline. Assist in the creation and dissemination of campaign materials, including social media content, email newsletters, and direct mail pieces. Monitor and report on campaign progress, providing data and insights to the fundraising team. Assist in researching potential grant opportunities and funding sources. Support the preparation and submission of grant applications, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements. Help track grant submissions, awards, and reporting requirements. Utilize existing grant writing resources within the KV corporation. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the Foundation Director.
What I bring
High school graduation or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, administrative support, or a related role. Bachelors degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raisers Edge, Salesforce) is a plus. Class C Driving LicenseKnowledge of creating effective marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content. Skills in managing public relations efforts to enhance the organizations visibility and reputation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
