GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of a Maintenance Manager, the HVAC Maintenance Leader Trainee plays a critical role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building automation systems in a large industrial facility. This position requires a basic understanding in engineering principles and practices to effectively complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and execute repair tasks while fostering positive customer relationships. This role will have experience with industrial HVAC systems, particularly in settings such as airports, and knowledge of chiller plant operations and automated building control systems. Exceptional customer service skills are required to address tenant and employee temperature concerns, while flexibility and adaptability are crucial to navigating changing priorities in a dynamic work environment. QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS)
· Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below.
· Must possess a valid, current Florida Class E Driver License when operating an Authority vehicle or driving on behalf of the Authority.
