About the Role

We're looking for a Software Product Manager with expertise in Bluetooth DSP, embedded audio software, and SoC integration to lead our software algorithm development in this space and drive the success of licensable Bose audio innovations .

You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and customer value, helping define, develop, and bring to market software solutions such as:

• Bluetooth DSP tuning tools

• LE Audio enhancements (LC3, Auracast , Multipoint Audio)

• Speech clarity and noise reduction algorithms

• Spatialization, upmixing , and headphone virtualization

• Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and adaptive audio processing

This is a high-impact role requiring technical depth, business acumen, and strong product leadership. You will collaborate closely with engineering, business development, marketing, and external SoC partners to ensure our Bluetooth audio software meets market needs, differentiates Bose in the industry, and drives commercial success through licensing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Alignment

• Define the Bluetooth DSP software licensing strategy, ensuring Bose software is integrated into third-party SoC platforms (Qualcomm, Airoha , BES, Synaptics, MediaTek, etc.).

• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging Bluetooth audio technologies, and the competitive landscape.

• Work closely with business development and marketing to align licensing offerings with market needs and partner opportunities.

• Identify and influence Bluetooth SoC roadmaps, ensuring Bose tuning tools and audio software are pre-integrated into partner SDKs.

Customer-Centric Product Planning

• Engage directly with B2B customers, SoC vendors, and OEM partners to validate product plans and gather feedback.

• Build compelling business cases that communicate market opportunities, partner value, and product differentiation.

• Translate customer and market insights into a prioritized product roadmap, balancing business priorities and technical feasibility.

Product Development & Agile Execution

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization of Bluetooth DSP software, tuning tools, and integration requirements.

• Serve as the Technical Product Owner, defining sprint deliverables, ensuring software execution aligns with business and market goals.

• Work closely with DSP engineers and software teams to drive development and optimization of high-performance Bluetooth audio algorithms.

• Guide trade-off decisions between software performance, power efficiency, and licensing constraints.

Cross-Functional Leadership & SoC Partnerships

• Work closely with engineering, business development, legal, and marketing teams to drive successful licensing engagements.

• Support go-to-market strategies, including pricing, bundling, and commercialization plans for licensable Bluetooth DSP solutions.

• Lead discussions with SoC partners to pre-integrate and certify Bose tuning tools for seamless adoption by OEMs.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in software product management , with a strong focus on audio DSP, embedded software, or Bluetooth SoC integration .

• Deep understanding of Bluetooth SoC architectures and experience working with Qualcomm, Airoha , BES, Synaptics, MediaTek, or similar vendors .

• Technical expertise in LE Audio (LC3, Auracast ), speech enhancement, ANC, spatialization, and embedded DSP frameworks .

• Working knowledge of audio pipelines, codec optimizations, and tuning tools used in Bluetooth audio processing.

• Strong background in software product management , with experience working closely with engineering teams on DSP and embedded software .

• Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, define requirements, and prioritize development efforts in an Agile environment.

• Strong business acumen , with experience building business cases and go-to-market strategies for B2B licensing .

• Excellent communication skills , with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders .

• Experience working in an Agile environment , including backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap execution .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with B2B software licensing models or technology partnerships.

• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Strong understanding of consumer audio, professional audio, or embedded DSP processing.

• Knowledge of AI-powered audio solutions, voice processing, and IoT audio applications.
