PROJECT MANAGER, OPERATIONS & PLANT ENGINEERING (Architecture)

You'll spearhead capital initiatives and process changes, working hand-in-hand with our dynamic plant engineering team and management. - This position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with cross-functional project team members to:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Develop project scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance as well as identify project risks and mitigations.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Regulatory and Quality standards or expectations.
- Present periodic status reports to leadership team.
- Promote thoughtful approaches to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Safeguard project documentation
- Assign and track deliverables confirming team members are clear on role and responsibility.
- Managed the Capital Request from the facilities and ensure documentation is complete
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 or more years of experience working with project management software and techniques, including previous experience planning and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products, and proficiency in project management software and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Detail oriented with experience meeting deadlines and budgets.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, and challenge ideas and assumptions, even when they come from executives and other senior leaders in the organization.
