Radiologic Supervisor - Women's Health Clinic (Finance)
The Supervising Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating sonographer staff, ensuring compliance with clinical and operational protocols. They will manage day-to-day operations in both the MFM and Telehealth Clinics, coordinate supplies and logistical support, and assist with workload scheduling and departmental workflow. They will plan and execute staff orientation and training, ensuring licensure and certification requirements are met. Acting as the clinical and technical expert, the supervisor will implement Quality Assurance and Improvement measures, stay updated with advancements, mentor staff, and oversee continuing education programs. Additionally, they will assist with training sonography students and resident physicians.

Meet the Team! RUHS Website• Under minimal supervision, provide diagnostic services to patients to produce images; prepare, position and transfer patients; provide immobilization devices as required; select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Assist the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services in ensuring department and staff compliance with Joint Commission, federal and state regulations and standards.
• Operate equipment as directed; develop film by automatic processing; provide patient protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Assure the technical quality and the proper functioning of equipment within designated areas.
• Assist physicians in the administering of contrast media; assure the technical quality and the proper functioning of equipment within designated areas.
• Maintain adequate records; maintain orderliness and cleanliness of all work areas; secure and return supplies.
• Instruct students and ancillary personnel; assist in the use of a variety of equipment or procedures; assist in the development of technical factors and film selection; record patient information.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with patients, visitors, departmental and hospital staff.
• Provide both non-specialized and specialized diagnostic services in modalities such as Angiography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures, and Ultrasound.
• Evaluate new products and equipment for possible future use; participate in developing new techniques and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate either specialists or technologists and ancillary personnel in modalities such as Angiography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures, and Ultrasound.
• Schedule technical personnel; report problems with equipment; prepare employee evaluations; conduct classes with radiology students; plan and coordinate workflow.
• Maintain records and documents of personnel and patients; maintain and schedule preventive maintenance service on equipment.
• Maintain departmental quality control program; maintain quality assurance program; update and review policy and procedure manuals.
• Coordinate activities with other hospital departments; maintain administrative records and documents of personnel and patients.
• Gather and report information relating to staffing, moral, scheduling, work methods, procedures, salary information, safety, and other actions regarding assigned personnel. Option I
Education: Successful completion of the education required by the State of California to obtain a valid license and/or certification necessary for the position.
Experience: Five years of performing radiologic technologist duties in an acute care facility, two years of which must have included supervision of technologists and ancillary personnel in radiologic imaging/ therapeutic modalities.
Option II Education: Successful completion of the education required by the State of California to obtain a valid license and/or certification necessary for the position.
Experience: Two years as a credentialed Technologist in a radiology modality or two years equivalent to a Senior Radiologic Technologist with the County of Riverside.

License/Certificate:
Possession of valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificates issued by the American Heart Association.
