Marketing Intern (Finance)
Since 1975 the Metropolitan Organization Countering Sexual Assault (MOCSA) has been an essential part of the Kansas City metro. SUMMARY
MOCSA is seeking a dynamic, self-starter to assist with marketing, graphics, and communications efforts. This volunteer/internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing and design in a community-based nonprofit organization.
JOB OBJECTIVES
· Develop content and support maintenance of MOCSA's social media channels.
· Create graphic design concepts for print and digital.
· Assist with implementation of MOCSA's brand for internal and external collateral materials.
· Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and channels for marketing, graphics, and communications.
· Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Excellent written and digital communications skills.
Strong creativity and graphic design experience including working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Canva.
Experience with social media content development and management.
Working knowledge of Constant Contact (or comparable email marketing software) preferred.
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Enthusiasm for the mission of MOCSA and the individuals and families we serve.
WORK HOURS & LOCATION
10-15 hours/week, hybrid work, flexible hours. Minimum 3 - 6-month commitment.
