Commercial Service Technician (Maintenance)

As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the proper installation and service of our products and systems for customers. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality Culligan service. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose our systems following training and will be comfortable consulting with customers to effectively understand their needs.

Culligan Service Technicians spend much of their time traveling to their customers' location and completing on-site installation – this means you should feel comfortable working in various environments. While you'll be traveling during working hours, you'll be back at the dealership by the end of your day. You may be required to work in commercial/industrial spaces. This role is physically demanding and requires the Technician to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and lift heavy equipment up to 100lbs regularly.

Technically speaking, the right candidate for this role will be skilled at installing, servicing, and maintaining large scale ROs and softeners primarily for industrial and manufacturing customers in the Joplin area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water chemistry and well water testing. Additionally, the technician must be comfortable plumbing in new and old equipment, and changing out pumps, switches, and meters. This person will work a full-time schedule in industrial/manufacturing/hospital settings. In this position, it will be essential to regularly sanitize, change filters, log data, and audit safety protocols as it relates to our systems.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and the ability to read schematics and P&ID's will be extremely useful in this role.
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly customer oriented, comfortable managing their time and solving problems, and committed to following SOP's. Proficiency in using hand tools and basic power tools is of the utmost important in this position.
