Requirements Engineer, Modeling (Engineering)
What you will do:
The Requirements Engineer will be responsible for the electronic hardware requirements generation and management for lithium-ion and ultra capacitor energy storage systems.
How you will do it:
Review customer specifications to identify requirements relevant to energy storage electronics hardware
Support creation and review of System Requirements and System Architecture
Collaborate with Systems, Software, and Functional Safety Engineering to develop electronic, safety, diagnostics, and hardware-software interface requirements
Lead the development of the electronic requirements and verification test case requirements, including authoring and reviews
Manage the traceability of hardware requirements through the hardware development process
Participate in the definition and review of Hardware Architecture designs
Participate in the establishment of standardized common hardware modules / blocks
Review Hardware Test Plans for completeness and relevance to verification of requirements
Support creation of the Hardware Development Plan, especially requirements management plans
What we look for:
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded electronic hardware development for safety-critical systems
Experience with electronic schematic and circuits
Experience with formal requirement management tools such as Doors or Jama
Excellent technical and communication skills
