In Oklahoma, leading causes of death include cancer and cardiovascular disease, exacerbated by high tobacco use, inadequate nutrition, and insufficient physical activity. The Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) seeks to enhance health and well-being through adjustments to policies, systems, and environments. By embedding healthy options and improving access to health-promoting opportunities, TSET initiatives target the places where Oklahomans live, learn, work, and play, ensuring everyone has the chance to achieve optimal health.
Your Role
As a key member of our evaluation team, you will play an integral role in assessing the effectiveness of policy, systems, and environmental changes aimed at improving health outcomes across Oklahoma.
Your responsibilities will be divided into three main areas:
Evaluation Coordination and Support: You will coordinate and assist in the evaluation efforts for TSET-funded grantees throughout the state. This includes crafting evaluation plans, developing data collection instruments, and performing data analysis and summarization.
Document Review and Analysis: You will review and analyze policies and environmental assessments submitted by grantees from various sectors including cities, towns, schools, worksites, and community organizations. These submissions often aim to enhance access to physical activity and healthier lifestyle choices. Your role involves evaluating whether these policies and assessments align with high-impact practices that are proven to boost physical activity and healthy eating options.
Coordinates all activities related to the project(s). Ensures analysis, redesign, planning and implementing processes are developed, initiated, and supported to allow the department to achieve its financial, quality, and service goals on the project(s). Ensures all project processes and outcomes are consistent with the vision and values of the department.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months experience
