What youll be doing:
Report directly to the General Superintendent with the following responsibilities: Assist General Superintendent with manpower placement base on project needs Assist the General Superintendent with the development of policies and procedures that will improve the quality, productivity and safety on Rogers electric jobsites. Work with the General Superintendent to identify areas of needed training and set up seminars or trainings Review the plans for new constructions or remodels and assist Superintendents and foremen with building the electrical systems thru regular jobsite QC walks/audit Track project budgets verses production and identify risk on projects. Notify the General Superintendent of potential risk on projects. Track the quality and productivity of temporary employees. Follow up with the General Superintendent to refine Rogers crews Train and assist Superintendents/Foremen with correct material ordering practices and techniques. Train superintendents/foremen to build project schedules using a 12 week look ahead Assisting/training foremen on job reviews to include initial, 25%, 50% and 75% cost to complete budgets Assist project team with manpower projections Conduct manpower evaluations and make recommendations for promotions and compensation increases. Assist PM/Super/Foremen and project teams, to meet their closeout requirements. With needed assistance, guidance, and resources
What were looking for:
Previous experience as superintendent, including leadership and oversight of foremen and crews on job sites Experience supervising multiple projects simultaneously Electrical expertise to include mastery of the electrical trade including installation in new construction setting (multi-story jobs) and remodels, job planning and layout, read blueprints, run conduit, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing and troubleshooting Ability to mentor, teach and direct foremen and construction electricians Excellent communication skills -- ability to interact well with general contractors, project managers, foremen and company leadership. Experience with construction software Procore Experience with construction software Bluebeam Good computer skills including proficiency with MS Office OSHA 30 certified CPR/First Aid trained Must be willing to obtain a Journeymen or Master Electricians License within 6 months of hire date Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime Must hold a valid driver's license
