RINA, formerly known as Patrick Engineering, is seeking a highway/ roadway Staff Engineer. This is a great opportunity to start or progress your career with a design team as it grows nationally.
SUMMARY
This Highway Staff Engineer will be responsible for assisting the team in all aspects of the roadway design process, from feasibility studies through completion of construction administration. Additionally, this individual should anticipate being part of the team assigned to complete public involvement activities (meetings, hearings, community advisory group events, stakeholder outreach, etc.); preliminary design plan development (drafting, alignment & profiles, utility data collection, ROW verification, geometric layout); and preparing final contract documents (drafting, finalizing geometric design, Maintenance of Traffic, quantity calculations, etc.).
The Staff Engineer may also be asked to provide support in preparing various reports and conducting field inspections to verify design conditions under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
This level of Engineer is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in utilizing engineering theories/practices and gaining exposure to company procedures.
