Associate Program Manager (Project Management)
Make recommendations on "best practices" process improvements for more efficient management of family and provider case files, enabling more consistent regulatory compliance.
Implement training materials and operational processes into web-based systems to educate and inform organization staff on the operational and regulatory requirements for the California Alternative Payment Program, CalWORKs Stage 2 and CalWORKs Stage 3 and other similar government contracts.
Team with stakeholders on project ideation and assist in the creation of business cases and return on investment assessments.
Define the content, tools, processes, deliverables, and critical information needed to create work plans for the successful development and launch of new products, as well as their on-going support.
Assume ownership of the overall program schedule, including determining critical milestones, key dependencies, government regulatory specifications and minimum launch requirements.
Track, analyze, and report on the schedule and status of development efforts to ensure team members and key stakeholders are provided timely and accurate information.
Oversee development efforts to deliver new products and introduce programs on-time, on-budget, and on specification, creating an environment of product excellence.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure organizational readiness for successful new product and services introduction.
Monitor and track due dates and expiration dates to ensure compliance with government regulatory requirements and make sure policies and procedures information provided as part of the software and services offerings adhere to existing state regulations and contract funding terms and conditions.
Lead efforts to identify key pilot organizations (beyond Choices for Children) and test early versions of systems and services, gathering feedback for further product improvements.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
Advanced understanding of the policies, and legal and regulatory requirements for the California Alternative Payment Program, and CalWORKs Stage 2 and CalWORKs Stage 3 contracts.
Ability to problem solve, meet deadlines, and follow through with tasks.
Excellent verbal and written presentation, communication, and persuasion skills.
Robust multitasking skills, with the ability to simultaneously handle diverse projects and competing priorities demonstrated by a successful track record managing projects/people.
Proven strategic and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative, and creativity to identify and clearly communicate strategies to senior management.
Excellent business acumen, with demonstrated ability to align teams to strategy to achieve business and program objectives.
Experience leading and facilitating program team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, and ensuring ongoing alignment with internal/external stakeholders
Proficiency in the operation and use of personal computers and computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Knowledge of case management database system is a strong plus (NoHo).
Ability to maintain sensitivity when interacting with a culturally diverse population of care providers, staff, and social services organizations and government program administration.
